About Us

Our History

Jackson Run Bed & Breakfast – the house is an 1880s farmhouse, which was family owned. The Bed & Breakfast opened in 1998, after a two year renovation. The house is located in a country setting, complete with an old-fashioned barn, apple orchards, and a small grape vineyard. With three guestrooms, featuring private baths, you will find the accommodations very comfortable. In 2007, Jackson Run expanded with the addition of a newly constructed Cottage, perfect for families or extended stay guests.

Innkeeper

The sole proprietor and innkeeper is Donna Grabany. “After many years of nursing, I love being an innkeeper. I have met so many wonderful people and have been fortunate to make many new friends from around the world.” The innkeeper lives in a separate residence on the property, so is nearby, while Bed & Breakfast guests enjoy complete comfort and privacy. Donna serves a full breakfast, either indoors or outside.

Our Horses

Jackson Run is home to a team of two wonderful Haflingers, Dick and Dan. The Haflinger breed originated in Austria in the late 1800s and is known for its sturdy build and strength. Dick and Dan are 15 and 16 years old, respectively, and both belonged to an Amish owned logging crew prior to coming to Jackson Run in 2002. Both horses enjoy meeting guests of all kinds, but we ask that you please refrain from feeding them, as they are on very restrictive diets.
